Asus MeMo Pad tablet launched at Rs 9,999

Asus has announced its entry into the budget tablet market in India with the launch of the Asus MeMO Pad. The 7-inch tablet is priced at Rs 9,999. The MeMO Pad's screen has a resolution of 1024x600 pixels at 169 pixels per inch. It runs on Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal memory. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz VIA WM8950 CPU and a Mali-400 GPU. The storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
