In this article i will show you that how to connect internet in ubuntu operating system. If you are using dial up connection, you should use pppoe configuration (Point – to – Point Protocol over Ethernet). To Connect internet you should know the username and password of your account given by Internet service provider.
Open terminal in root user mode
he pppoeconf scans the Ethernet interface and list the available interfaces. Use any one of the interface from the list. Here i am using ‘eth 0‘ interface to connect with internet, select yes button to proceed . The configuration file /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider will be modified and select yes button to proceed again
