London Olympics 2012 Closing Ceremony Google Doodle

On 12 August 2012 Google has added London 2012 Closing Ceremony Olympics doodle on their Homepage. This is the last Google doodle for the London 2012 Olympics. The Olympics Google doodle for London 2012 Closing Ceremony shows all athletes from the 15 Olympic sports that have been featured in the Google doodle for the past 16 days. The Olympic disciplines portrayed in the Doodle are Archery, Diving, Fencing, Artistic Gymnastics Men’s Rings, Hockey, Table Tennis, Shot Put, Pole Vault, Synchronized Swimming, Javelin, Hurdles, Basketball, Slalom Canoe, Football and Rhythmic Gymnastics.
The ‘G’ of the Google logo has been held by the fencer, the 2 O’s of the Google logo have been held by the Table Tennis and the Shot Put athlete, the 2 nd ‘G’ of the Google logo has been held by a synchronized swimmer, the ‘L’ of the Google logo has been held by a javelin athlete and the ‘E’ of the Google logo has been held by a football player. In the last 17 days we covered all the Google London Olympics 2012 doodles. It is sad that we will have to wait for 4 years for the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Brazil for the visual treat of Olympic Games Google Doodles. Google deserves a great applause for creating an awareness about the Olympic sports through it’s artistically designed doodles and interactive games.
